Junior Clinics

Our youth clinics use shorter courts, slower-moving balls and adapted teaching techniques according to age, skill and ability.  We want to make the game of tennis fun so that kids learn faster and with greater success. 

Red Robins | beginners | ages 3-5

Red Robins is a hands-on 45 - minute clinic designed for preschool age children introducing them to the game of tennis.  Our experienced instructors are certified in USTA 10 and under protocol including smaller courts and innovative lesson plans to keep your child motivated and energized.

Red Raiders | all levels | ages 5-8

Red Raiders is a 60-minute hands-on clinic for ages 5 to 8 with a focus on building skills while having fun. Our experienced instructors are certified in USTA 10 and under protocol including a 36’ court to keep the ball in your child’s strike zone and ensure proper grip and technique. Innovated lesson plans and familiar games are adapted to the court to keep everyone having fun.

Orange Crush | all levels | ages 9-10

Orange Crush is a 60-minute clinic for ages 9 to 10 making it easy and fun to get into the game. Our experienced instructors are certified in USTA 10 and under protocol including innovative lesson plans to keep your child motivated and energized. Classes are broken into subgroups based on experience and skill.  Orange low compression balls facilitate waist level ground strokes, better topspin, continental grip volleys, and court awareness.

Green Hornets | advanced beginner to intermediate | ages 10-12

Green hornets is a hands-on 60-minute clinic for low to advanced intermediate players ages 10 to 12. Classes are broken into subgroups based on experience and skill. Emphasizing mechanics and consistency, players will use green dot balls to develop and improve on their ground strokes, lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys.

ATP | advanced beginner to intermediate | ages 13-17

These hands-on 90-minute clinics use yellow balls and are designed for beginner and intermediate level ages 13 to 17. Customized drills to improve fitness and footwork. Emphasis on stroke mechanics, power, spin, depth and control. Simulated match play to develop game plan strategy and stroke variety.

Junior Academy Clinics

Academy clinics are for students who are passionate about tennis, who intend to make tennis their athletic focus, and who want coaching focused on competitive play.  Program requires commitment of 2 days per week.  Academy participants are highly encouraged to participate in USTA tournaments and/or Junior Team Tennis.

Red Academy | competitive | ages 5-8

Our experienced instructors are certified in USTA 10 and under protocol including a 36’ court to keep the ball in your child’s strike zone and ensure proper grip and technique. This 60-minute class focuses on match play and beginning competition. Group will be split by level and ability.

Orange Academy | competitive | ages 9-10

Our experienced instructors are certified in USTA 10 and under protocol including innovative lesson plans to keep your child motivated and energized. This 60-minute class focuses on developing personal drive for improvement through mastering one’s own play-style and developing weapons. Group will be split by level and ability.

Green Academy | competitive | ages 10 - 12

This is a two hour class with 90-minutes on court and 30-minutes of fitness training. Emphasizing mechanics and consistency, players will use green dot balls to develop and improve on their ground strokes, lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys. A portion of the 2-hour class will be games-based instruction. Classes are broken into subgroups based on experience and skill. A strength and agility program by certified trainers from Halo Fitness will be incorporated into this program.

The Academy | middle and high school team prep

This is a two hour class with 90-minutes on court and 30-minutes of fitness training.  Academy clinics are designed to help middle and high school students prepare for a school team or USTA matches. This is a high energy, fitness challenging program designed to bring students to a level where they have the tools, power and consistency to win matches. A 30-minute strength and agility program by certified trainers from Halo Fitness will be incorporated into this program.
