Pilar discovered her passion for tennis later in life, quickly rising through the ranks to become a highly competitive player across numerous USTA teams in Connecticut and New York. Her drive, determination, and love for the game led her not only to compete at a high level but also to begin coaching — where her impact has been just as powerful.

As the coordinator and coach of NCRC Junior Team Tennis program, Pilar guided her players to win the state championship,  instilling in them both skill and sportsmanship. Now a certified teaching professional, she works with both children and adult beginners, helping them build confidence on and off the court through positive, fundamentals-based instruction. Pilar is known for her energetic approach, player-first mindset, and ability to inspire a love for the game in everyone she teaches.
